When we came back from the tour, I took french fries to pass some time, while waiting for the sunset to check up the Eiffel Tower when they turn on the lights all around it.

Day 2 – Paris

We left Kuwait at night via Lufthansa, a transit flight through Frankfurt/Main. and reached CDG Airport at 8:30 AM. it was raining heavily in Paris and the weather was really amazing.. yes it was so cold around 3 Degrees, but I love it!

and here we go from the GDG to the Hotel, checked in, left our bags in the room, and back again out! We decided to have our breakfast somewhere close to the Eiffel Tower.

We had the “Petit Dejeuner” for breakfast at “Iolanda Cafe”.. it was a good choice it comes with Orange Juice + Coffee + Breads + Omelet !

We where done with the breakfast we walk to a place close to the Eiffel tower where you can purchase tickets for the Open Tour Bus.

It was a tour in a double deck Bust around the famous places in Paris.. we sat at the upper open deck of the bus.

Highlighting important places on Paris Metro Map

I’ve those favorite places in each country that I’ve visited before and I used to collect and keep info (address, cards) for those “must visit again places” like (Restaurants, Shopping area/center, Attractions, Cafes, etc..). and since my visit to Paris won’t last more than a week, I’ve decided to highlight those spots on Paris Metro map, to make it easier to find em, not to waste time searching! and of course on the top of the list are those address for my favorite sweets and pastries ;p

Packing

hmmm.. for me packing goes into four phases 🙂 phase one choosing and preparing my outfits. phase 2: charging my gadgets (My Cam, Laptop, iPad, iPod, and my mobile). Phase 3: packing my gadgets, other accessories & clothing, umbrella, bath travel kit, and Hair Dryer into my cabin bag. Phase 4: collecting my membership cards, credit cards, passport, International Driving License, Cash, Maps, and a print out of hotels reservation & flights e-tickets.
