In November 2011, while I was in London, I’ve suspected that my visa card might be compromised by a hacker. I was in Apple Store, trying to pay using my visa for some stuff I’ve got from there. The sales guy told me: Sorry your transaction is declined !! I was like what? mmm? let me check the balance! and when I entered the bank website from my iPhone to check my Visa, and then I was surprised that there were 3 different transactions on my visa card, each with different amount in Thai Baht for an Australian tours website!! I called the bank immediately and asked for a justification for those transactions! They told me it might be my hotel holding this amount! I said what? in Thai Baht ?? oh no no, IMPOSSIBLE! I told them that I’ve paid the whole amount in advance and there is no way that these transactions been made by the hotel! The guy told me then I’ve to report my Visa card for lost and stop it immediately. So I’ve replace it with a new card, and after three months, and preciously today I found a deduction of KD 15 from my new visa card. I called the bank and they informed me that this is a replacement fee. How come they haven’t inform me about the replacement fees? but KD 15?! that is a lot !
