A Traveler Foodie e-Spot.. Traveling like quantum!

We left Lisbon flying to Istanbul by Turkish Airways transfer via Istanbul to Kuwait. And when we reached Ataturk Airport in Istanbul, the gate to our next flight was already closed. We went to the transfer information to check for the other options available.  They informed us that the only options available is to take the next flight, which is after 24 hours from the time we reached there ! It was 9:40 PM and we were totally tired and sleepy.  They offered us a stay in a hotel in Istanbul, plus three meals and transportation from the airport to the hotel and vice versa. We supposed to leave the hotel tomorrow at 7:00 PM 2 hours prior to our flight, but the bus was late and we took a text instead who didn’t give us our change back! We asked him for our change but he was pretending that he does not understand English, left us next to the airport and left without giving us our money back! well that was really horrible! HOW COME?! *Sight.. Anyway, the weather in Istanbul was pretty cold ! The temperature was around 2 degrees at 12:43 AM, the time we reached the hotel. It’s my friend’s birthday today, my companion in the travel sphere . We went to search for a restaurant, it was  1:30 AM ! and there were lots of restaurants opened out there.  There were a guy in one of those restaurants who was insisting on us to enter his restaurant. Unfortunately we did! the food was not great! and at the end we were shocked with the bill! The price was beyond our expectations! it was a sum amount not specifying our orders. Of course we were not in a position to argue with the guy at that time and left the restaurant disappointed! After all our day stay in Istanbul was bad & good at the same time, with all it’s hustle and bustle.
