it was at the sunset when we arrived to Muscat Airport, we stamped our passport, claimed our luggages, and then find the private car waiting for us outside while the driver was holding a board with my name written on it for pickup.
After 45 minutes drive we reached the hotel and it was dark outside. on our way to the hotel the driver helped us to get a GSM prepaid card from Alnoor Telecom, he stopped by in the middle of the way to a hypermarket. We booked in Alhusn hotel which is basically one of Shangri-La resort hotels. The room was deluxe with balcony. The furniture was a mix of modern & has a traditional Omani touch on it. We didn’t do much at this day as we barely had the time to organize our stuff. We then ordered in room dinner from the menu. After dinner we soak our feet in hot water with salt foot scrub.
