I went to Dubai for a training course for a week. (from 18/12/2015 to 24/12/2015. via Jazeera Airways.) The training course was from Sunday to Thursday. I stayed at the same hotel (crown Plaza) where the course conducted. Our original return date was on the 26th of December. We wanted to return earlier and changed our flight to the 24th. Payed KD 20 for the change and refunded the two extra nights at the hotel.
We spent the first day of our arrival at Dubai Mall, had our dinner at Samak Restaurant in front of the Dancing Fountain which was breathtakingly beautiful.
The second day we went to Souq and had our breakfast at Shakespeare & Co. and then headed to Dubai Mall for some shopping.
and then we had dessert and dinner at a restaurant ( I don’t recall the name), in the terrace enjoying the view and the dancing fountain. it was a beautiful sunset at that moment while we were having our dessert, just before dinner which wasn’t planned to be there. but because of the view we wanted to spend more time at that restaurant.
The day after (Sunday) was the first day for the training course from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM
By the time I was done with the training course we took a taxi heading to the Global Village
Day 4: woke up early in the morning and headed from floor 19 where our room located to the third floor for the training course. After the training course we spent the day relaxing in the room as my mom was a bit sick and I was tired. and at night I have ordered burger for dinner (I enjoy in-room dinning).
Day 5: morning from 8:30 to 2:00 Training course. after the training course I went to the room searching the web for a shop in Dubai that sells the Chemex Coffee maker. I called the supplier number and he suggested that the nearest place is Jones the Grocer. We asked the Concierge at the hotel to give us the direction to the cafe and then headed there with the taxi.
I was happy that I have finally found the chemex and especially my preferred size. I also took coffee filters along with the Ouro Kettle.
The place was awesome and cozy. and I was tempted with their sandwiches at the display, so we decided to have our lunch there.
After lunch I had coffee with this fancy coffee maker. and had sweet as well.
Then we went out searching for a taxi and while we were there I spotted this lovely Christmas Tree and Santa Cruz beside it.
