Paris – Day 1

We reached Paris at 8:30 AM. Took the train from CDG airport to our Metro Station “Cambronne” to our hotel. We suffered from carrying our language along the stairs in every station we stopped at for change. There were no elevator so we had to carry our own bags!

Then we went to have our Breakfast at Cafe Cambronne.

after breakfast we took the metro starting from our station Cambronne to Saint Paul station where “Sabon” my all my time favorite shop is located.

When we reached Saint Paul we went searching for Orange Telecom Shop.

I’ve charged my card with € 5 for a one week unlimited use for the internet “3G”.

Then we went walking and searching for Sabon shop until we found it.

After that we had Falafel for Lunch from Mi-Va-Mi

It was yum yum yum the best Falafel so far!

We took the metro then heading to Bir Hakeim… were my wallet got stolen just in front of the Seine River behind the Eiffel Tower. It was the worst robbery ever i’ve ever had never happened to me before and it took them just 5 minutes! I believe it was a girl cause i’ve not noticed any man roaming around the place at that time it was at night and the place filled with girls!!! we were in an open market for the XMAS and I was buying a gingerbread man from one of those shop, i went then taking some shots for the shops around. when i reached to the other shop i wanted to buy a plastic vase that took my attention and i was choosing from different color and sizes. they told 3 for €10. then i put my hand inside the bag searching for my wallet to pay for the vases! I was searching and searching and searching… but my wallet wasn’t there! at this moment i discovered that my wallet was stolen! I entered immediately to my Bank Application through my iPhone and reported my two Bank cards Stolen. There were € 1050, my License, National ID Card, KD 15, my Starbucks card filled with KD 2o, ATM card, and Visa card all inside my wallet.  it was the first day on my visit in Paris. and I’ve got robbed at night! I felt bad and terrible. started searching everywhere even called the police but all was unsuccessful! My friend had here own cash and told me I can borrow her credit card. I called and asked my mom to transfer some money to my friend’s credit card and told her what happened! After this horrible incident every now and then I pass by Bir Hakeim station or even the Eiffel Tower I get Goosebumps !

This was the last shop before I discover my wallet stolen.
