The first thing I did when I woke up in the second day is to check the view at the balcony, since we’ve arrived at night on the first day.

It was a beautiful view facing the Mountains and the beach! I really love it.

We went to have our buffet breakfast in Alsultana Restaurant in Alhusn Hotel, one of Shangri-La’s three resorts.

We then headed out walking to discover the place.

It was too Hot outside and we figure out the only one thing we can do is to go swimming. We took our stuff  and headed to the Private Beach.

We stayed at the Beach for 3 hours and then back to our room for shower and relaxation.

On our way back to the room, we went to check the swimming pool and it was fully occupied. there was no single seat available there!!

It was 5:15 PM when we reached the room. We decided to check Muttrah Souq, took fast shower and ask the reception at the hotel for a taxi. The souq closes at 9 so figure out we still have time to go there and have some “Omani Halwa” from there. We also booked for late dinner at 9:45 in Bait Albhr Restaurant, which is specialized in Seafood gourmet.

We didn’t stay long in Muttrah souq as it was so crowded and because of the heat!! it took as like forever to find the Halwa shop, and a decade to find a taxi in the other part of the souq!!  The way from the souq to the resort is about 22 minutes. We reached the hotel earlier and thought we might find an earlier reservation for the restaurant, but it was full.

The food was great! we stayed in the outdoor tables of the restaurant. The place was fantastic.
